David Winternheimer, PhD, PPM

Managing Partner

David leads the biotechnology division of Health Biotech Partners, assisting companies commercializing novel technologies to the biopharmaceutical industry. David has founded multiple companies and assisted dozens of start-up companies launch their products and services in the biotechnology space, generating the first million in revenue for many of them. David received his PhD in organic chemistry from UCLA and his Postdoctoral Professional Masters (PPM) in Bioscience Management from the Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences.

Robert Plush

Managing Partner

Robert leads the health and medtech division of Health Biotech Partners with 20 years of experience commercializing disruptive technologies for digital health and medical device companies. Robert spent over a decade launching several robotic technologies in the orthopedic industry and has consulted with and advised over 100 companies with a focus on business development, sales, marketing and strategy. Robert is an advisor and mentor for several life science accelerators including the Consortium for Technology & Innovation in Pediatrics (CTIP) at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Robert received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from USC and a master’s degree in Biotechnology Entrepreneurship from Johns Hopkins University.
